ASTHMA IN WOMEN

During childhood boys have almost twice the risk of developing asthma over girls. As adults more women have asthma, and women with asthma have more severe asthma. During this session Ruth will navigate asthma in females at various stages throughout a lifetime.
Ruth Morrow has many years of experience working in Respiratory Care as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Primary care) and subsequently as a Respiratory Nurse Specialist in the Asthma Society of Ireland facilitating their What’s App Messaging Service. Ruth is also an independent Nurse Educator and Consultant.
