ASTHMA AND THE ACTIVE ATHLETE

Regular physical activity is recommended for all individuals, but asthmatic athletes face special challenges in managing their disorder while practicing sport. In this event Ruth will focus on how best to manage exercise induced asthma.

Ruth Morrow has many years of experience working in Respiratory Care as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Primary care) and subsequently as a Respiratory Nurse Specialist in the Asthma Society of Ireland facilitating their What’s App Messaging Service. Ruth is also an independent Nurse Educator and Consultant.
